Do I always need to take supplements or herbs?

In naturopathic care, supplements or herbs are never a requirement unless there is a clear deficiency or depletion.

They can be helpful tools, but they are not the heart of the work. The most profound shifts often come from the simplest places: how you eat, how you sleep, how you move, how you manage stress, and how you support your body’s natural rhythms.

Diet and lifestyle therapeutics are powerful because they work with your biology every single day. When we adjust the way you nourish yourself, structure your routines, and respond to your environment, we create changes that ripple through your whole system — often more deeply and sustainably than anything that comes in a bottle.

Supplements, herbs, and nutrients can absolutely enhance your progress when needed, but they are never the starting point and never an obligation. You can achieve meaningful improvements in energy, digestion, mood, resilience, and overall wellbeing through foundational changes alone.

My role is to help you understand what your body is asking for, and to offer strategies that feel achievable, respectful of your circumstances, and grounded in evidence. Whether you choose to include supplements or not, you will always leave with a plan that supports real, tangible progress.
