About our work together
I am a registered Naturopath in Australia. Before we begin working together, you will need to complete the new client intake forms so that I have the information required to support you safely. During our consultation, we will discuss your health concerns and the Naturopathic treatment options that may be appropriate based on what you share with me. I will only proceed with any treatment once you clearly understand what it involves, including any potential risks, and you have chosen to continue. You are free to decline any treatment at any time.
What I do and what I do not do
I am not a medical doctor, and I do not diagnose medical conditions or treat diseases. My services are not a substitute for medical care, and I strongly encourage you to remain under the care of your general practitioner or specialist. I am very willing to work collaboratively with your medical practitioner if you choose.
Any information you share with me does not create a doctor–patient relationship, and our consultations are not a substitute for a medical examination or medical advice. I do not handle medical emergencies. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 000 or go to your nearest hospital.
What you need to do
Your health decisions are always your own. You and your medical practitioners are responsible for your medical care, diagnosis, and treatment. Nothing discussed in our sessions is intended to override or interfere with your doctor’s professional judgement.
All supplements and herbal medicines that I recommend are checked for potential interactions and safety considerations based on the information you provide. For this reason, it is essential that you share accurate and up‑to‑date details about your diagnosed medical conditions, medications, supplements, allergies, and any treatments you are currently undertaking.
Naturopathic consultations explore many aspects of your health and daily life, and this process relies on your active participation. I ask detailed questions so that I can understand the full picture of your health, but the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide are essential. Your honesty and clarity directly influence the quality, safety, and effectiveness of any treatment plan we develop.
Prescriptions
All supplements, herbal liquids, and treatment products prescribed during your consultation are formulated specifically for your individual health needs. They are not suitable for use by family members, friends, or anyone else.
Please do not share any prescribed products with others. What is safe and appropriate for you may be unsafe or ineffective for someone else, especially if they have different medical conditions, medications, allergies, or health needs.
If another family member requires support, they will need their own consultation so I can assess their health history and ensure any recommendations are safe and appropriate for them.

Registration and Code of Ethics
I am committed to providing high‑quality Naturopathic care grounded in best practice and current evidence. I maintain professional membership with the Australian Natural Therapies Association (ANTA), which requires strict adherence to professional standards and ongoing education. This ensures I continue developing my skills and staying up to date with the latest research. My focus is always on delivering safe, effective, and client‑centred care. Reactions and Risks
All supplements, nutrients and herbal extracts used by me are registered or listed with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) in Australia.
All therapeutic products, whether they are prescription medicines, over‑the‑counter items, or complementary therapies, have the potential to cause side effects or other adverse events. This includes:
· Prescription medications
· Over‑the‑counter medicines
· Complementary and natural therapies, such as:
· Herbal remedies
· Naturopathic or homeopathic preparations
· Nutritional supplements, including vitamins and minerals
It is your responsibility to notify me of any allergies, intolerance or reactions you have experienced in the past. If you experience an unexpected allergic reaction to a supplement I have prescribed, you must notify me but prioritise calling 000 if you are experiencing life threatening symptoms (e.g. anaphylaxis).
Some adverse reactions are referred to as idiosyncratic reactions. These are unexpected effects that cannot be fully explained by the known actions of the product. They do not occur in most people at standard doses and are generally unpredictable. These reactions arise from an individual’s unique biochemistry, which may make them more sensitive to certain substances. Importantly, adverse reactions can occur with any substance such as foods, supplements, pharmaceuticals, and complementary medicines.
If an adverse reaction occurs, please stop taking the product immediately, contact me as soon as possible as I will take appropriate steps to ensure it is reported to the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), Australia’s regulatory authority for medicines and therapeutic goods. Although, anyone can report an adverse reaction direct to the TGA. The TGA oversees product safety and provides a comprehensive system for monitoring and reporting adverse events. For more information, visit TGA Adverse Event Reporting.
